Mobile and manufactured homes are most often built with different materials than stick-built homes. They are permanently attached to a steel chassis, which acts as a floor support system. Additionally, mobile homes are not permanently attached to the site they sit on (even though may be are anchored). Like any home inspection we will inspect the entire home from top to bottom. Besides inspecting the exterior, HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical, we often walk the mobile home’s roof and get under the unit to check the chassis and anchors.
