  • Preparing comprehensive reports detailing your findings, including clear explanations, photos, and recommendations for repairs or further evaluation.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing, to explain your findings in a clear, unbiased, and professional manner.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to all ethical and legal standards of the home inspection industry.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • State-issued Home Inspector license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and various home systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, including scheduling, client information, and reports.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
